Fantastic Year 2017 for PADI IDC Gili Islands

Fantastic Year 2017 for PADI IDC Gili Islands

The year 2017 started fantastic for our PADI Course Director Team at PADI IDC Gili Islands.

First of all we increased the amount of Course Directors. We have now Giny Pinto, Joeri van Hal, Sander Buis and Alina Conroy who are joining all the team. This team will bring an experience of diving aroung the Gili Islands of 50 years. All of them are living more than 5 years on the Gili Air and they all kmow the dive conditions and how to teach in Lombok.

Second PADI has given 2 of our PADI Course Directors an award. Joeri van Hal has got the PADI Elite PADI Platinum Award and Giny Pinto the Elite PADI Silver Award. Both of them are gradeful about the award and like to thank all the former PADI Instructor Candidates, Master Scuba Diver Trainer candidates and PADI IDC Staff Instructor candidates.

Course Director Joeri told us "

"PADI Instructor Course Gili Islands 2016 has been amazing! I’ve had the privilege to educate many dive instructor candidates and to build new friendships. Many of my candidates are working as a dive instructor in places all over the world, near and far. It is because of these candidates that some of my colleagues decided to become part of the IDC Staff.

Thanks to all the people I have educated in 2016 I can proudly call myself a Platinum PADI Course Director after my first full year on the job."

PADI Course Director Giny wrote us the follwing statement:

"I learned so much from the candidates on this first-hand experience, the most valuable lesson was how to develop the team spirit with people coming from various backgrounds, training and abilities." I think this is a very important skill to have in the dive industry as the future instructors mostly will have to work in a team, and a great team can achieve great results

Third of all PADI IDC Indonesia is conducting twelve PADI Instructor Courses at Gili Air in Indonesia. That are two PADI IDCs more coming with 2016. The IDCs can be conducted in English, French, Dutch, Spanish and German.
